Our goji berry powder comes from the goji belt, China. The goji belt is located in Ningxia, China, which is perhaps the most favorable place for goji berries to grow because its soil is alkaline and very fertile. Here, the temperature fluctuates between extreme values, resulting in the development of the best and largest goji berries. Goji fruits are deep red, have only a few seeds and, like raisins, are very sweet.
The organic, whole dried goji berries are placed in trays for freeze-drying, then the material is ground, sieved, demineralized and packaged.
