Jasberry is a new type of rice that has been the result of decades of natural crossing. Its dark purple color and high antioxidant content make rice a superfood - soft, aromatic and great in flavor.
The antioxidant capacity of jasberry rice, which is certified and verified by an independent laboratory, is so high that it not only competes with the usual super foods, but also surpasses them:
Jasberry's ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance) is three times as high as blueberries four times as high as goji berries and seven times as high as kale. Its antioxidant capacity is 40 times that of brown rice.
It is particularly important for the producer to support the rice producers in Thailand, who are among the poorest in the world. Among other social start-ups, their 2017 engagement was the winner of the Chivas The Venture Thailand competition, a social start-up competition that helps the project progress.
